Our crew is growing here at Be Free Revolution, and we are so thankful to have new gifts and abilities added to our team! Our newest addition is Reese Thrasher, who has taken on the role of Finance and Accounting Coordinator. We cannot even express how excited and grateful we are to have him join us.

With the opening of The Rev and the expansion of BFR in all areas, we all have a lot of plates in the air.  Sometimes it seems like we are barely hanging on by God’s coattails to keep up with all the growth. Reese will now be handling the money side of things – keeping all the rest of us “creatives” a little more organized and a little more sane 🙂 Plus, an added bonus, Reese already has a strong faith and a heart for missions and new cultures. Here is a little bit from Reese about himself:

I was born and raised in Jonesboro, AR. Although I thoroughly enjoyed my smaller hometown and school, I felt the need for a change and decided to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. I graduated in December, 2014 with my degree in international business, as well as minors in economics and French.

Throughout high school and college I had the opportunity to go on several mission trips as well as study abroad. Each of those opportunities has served a purpose for what I am doing today and what I hope to accomplish in the future. As a senior in high school, I had the opportunity to go to South Africa on a mission trip, and since that time I have felt the immense impact that serving others has had on my own life. In addition to mission trips, I was able to spend a summer studying French in Besancon, France. Studying abroad that summer really instilled a level of independence and peace in my life in regards to where I might live or work after graduation. Following graduation this past December, Britney spoke with me about an opportunity to work with BFR full-time. Because of my interests and education in finance, the opportunity for this position with BFR was definitely done in God’s timing. I have known for some time now that I wanted to pursue a position that involved traveling as well as serving those in need and I am beyond blessed to have an opportunity with BFR that allows me to pursue both! I truly believe that we each serve a purpose in God’s perfect plan and I hope to be of use in any way, shape, or form that BFR might need me.

Well, friends, there ya have it! He fits right in around here. Welcome to the crew, Reese! We couldn’t be happier to have you!
