From Ordinary to EXTRAordinary

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, -Ephesians 3:19-20

Have you ever felt average, mediocre, boring, ordinary? I am sure we all have at some time in our lives. Not the worst, but not the best. Not the prettiest, but not the ugliest. Not the smartest, but not the dumbest. Not the strongest, but not the weakest – just ordinary. The Bible is full of ordinary people who did extraordinary things; however they all had one thing in common – the power of God. David killed Goliath. Moses parted the Red Sea. Peter walked on water. Noah built the ark. A little boy’s lunch fed more than 5,000 people. Esther rescued her people. Enoch never experienced death. Elijah defeated the prophets of Baal. Mary was the mother of Jesus. John saw heaven.

We have their God. We need their faith. How can the power of God work in you, so that your life can go from ordinary to extraordinary and ultimately bring glory to God? Because He desires to use you to do the extraordinary, you must daily seek after Him and His will with your whole heart. Serve and love with humility and grace. Be ready, willing, and available for the power of God to work through you to do exceeding abundantly. Stand in awe of His purpose and plan for your life as you radically live a life full of the love and power of God.

Put into Action: Today, ask God to completely empty you of yourself and fill you with the power of His Spirit. Let Him use the ordinary to do the EXTRAordinary!
