Because we are thankful for you and the global impact you have helped us make, we want you to feel our appreciation. Since The Rev opened its doors on October 17th we have been able to provide 12 sponsorships, 3 college scholarships, $705 towards missions and 1015 meals in one month! In honor of all these accomplishments you helped make possible, we want to celebrate a week of thanks with you Tuesday Nov. 25th through Saturday, Nov. 29th.We wanted to continue with this spirit of giving that has been so abundant and encourage you to shop local. So, we have marked down our merchandise and beverages to show our gratitude for all your support. Check out all that The Rev will be offering this week!
Tuesday, Nov. 25th: Take 10% off all books in The Rev. We have so many incredible and inspiring books with all audiences in mind. Ranging from children’s books to artistic coffee table books, to novels, we are sure that you can find something that is suitable for your interests. Goodnight Memphis has been one of our best sellers to kids and adults alike, AND an added bonus, it’s signed by the author! Stop by to get yours before they are gone!
Wednesday, Nov. 26th: Take 1$ off coffee. Stay cozy while you’re out shopping with locally brewed J. Brooks coffee. The most popular option is our Spirit of Memphis medium roast, but if you’re in need of something with a little more kick, you can’t go wrong with Onyx’s robust flavor. Not a caffeine drinker? That’s okay too. We have the Clarion available as our decaf option.
Thursday, Nov. 27th, Thanksgiving: As an extension of Be Free Revolution, the overall goal for The Rev is to feed, educate, empower and ultimately create sustainability for the vulnerable. You have made this lifestyle of Go. Serve. Lead. Love. possible through your endless support, encouragement, donations, sponsorships and purchases. Whether it was a cup of coffee, a necklace, or an original painting, we are truly grateful. So on this Thanksgiving as you share a meal with your family and friends, we hope that you feel the impact you have helped make knowing that you have helped feed a child, employ a Kenyan artisan and provide education in schools that are struggling to find qualified teachers. Most importantly, feel appreciated.
Friday, Nov. 28th, Black Friday: Amidst the frenzy of Black Friday, let us treat you with sweets and a mystery sale drawing, which entails sale surprises up to 40% off merchandise in the store. We know how overwhelming the holidays can be sometimes trying to remember gifts for all your friends and family, all the events you are supposed to be at, and hosting family get togethers; you don’t need your shopping to add to that. When you shop local at The Rev you can avoid all the chaos that department stores and mall shopping often entails. Again, we owe our success to you, so stop by, shop gifts that go full circle and let us shower you with appreciation!
Saturday, Nov. 29th, Small Business Saturday: In conjunction with other small businesses across the U.S., The Rev is part of Shop Small Business Saturday. Spend $10 with your American Express and get $10 back when you shop small and support local businesses. Make sure you are registered in advance by clicking on this link: http://amex.co/1tYvpy8
Even though they can sometimes be crazy, the holidays really are a magical time. They’re perfect for showing the ones you love how much they mean to you. With that being said, we hope that you will shop thoughtful this weekend, and remember the true reason for this time of giving and celebration. Slow down. Take a breather. Be inspired. We are thankful for this calling. We are thankful for our home away from home halfway around the world. We are thankful for the families that we have made there. And we are thankful for YOU. We hope that we are able to show our entire Memphis community and beyond how much you all mean to us. If you have ever bought coffee, made a donation, worn a necklace, sponsored a child, served on the mission field, or even just prayed for us, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This journey can sometimes be a challenge, but the hope is that through you, we are able to give across the globe and that makes it all worth it.
